Is there a parking lot near the hotel?

The hotel is within a pedestrian area, but the nearest public parking lot is about 200 m away in a street parallel to the main street, Corso Vittorio Emanuele.

Are bed linens and towels included in the price?

Each apartment is equipped with a complete bed and bathroom set that is replaced on the fourth day of your stay.

When is the apartment cleaned?

Cleaning is not performed during your stay but only upon each change of client. However, each apartment is equipped with a broom, dustpan and mop along with a bucket for washing.

What appliances are present in the apartment?

Each apartment is equipped with satellite TV, refrigerator with freezer, air conditioning and drier.

What will be provided in the apartment upon our arrival?

Upon your arrival, you will find a sponge for washing dishes, a towel and a bottle of dish soap in the kitchen; in the bathrooms you will find a bottle of liquid soap and two rolls of toilet paper.

Is the water safe to drink?

The tap water comes from the desalination plant and tanker ships, and the locals use it for cooking and washing. Upon your arrival you will find a sealed bottle of water for immediate needs in the apartment’s refrigerator.

Is breakfast provided?

f) There is no breakfast service; each apartment is equipped with its own kitchenette with a complete kitchen set, various utensils, a salad bowl, plates, cups and cutlery sufficient for the expected number of guests.

Will we find basic foods such as sugar, salt, oil and so on in the apartment?

Food is not provided for reasons of hygiene and safety; any sealed or open food, even if not entirely consumed, will be removed from the apartment upon each client change.

Are pets allowed?

Only if they are small and upon the hotel’s approval.

Is an internet connection available?

i) The hotel has a Wi-Fi network and a PC and printer is available in our reception during business hours for the exclusive use of clients to connect to the internet, check e-mail and print documents.

Are there obligatory return times?

There is no obligatory return time because each apartment is autonomous and independent. Upon arrival, clients will receive an identification plate containing two keys – one to the main door and one to the apartment.

What time are check-in and check-out?

Check-out must occur by 10:30; for guests leaving before the offices open (the first means of transport departs at 7:00), instructions will be provided the day before. Check-in begins at 14:00, but if you arrive early and the apartment is ready, you can take possession of it immediately. It is recommended to advise the hotel, by telephone or e-mail, two/three days prior to your arrival in order to match your arrival time with our reception hours and therefore reduce waiting times. The reception, which is autonomous with respect to the apartments, is open from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 16:30 to 20:30; however, knowing your estimated time of arrival beforehand, you will find someone waiting for you. For any eventualities, our telephone numbers are always active and reachable.

When do I have to pay for the apartment?

The balance due must be paid on the day of arrival.

Can I pay the balance by credit card?

The balance can be paid in cash, for amounts less than Euro 1,000.00, or by credit card (Visa or MasterCard).

What does the fee include?

The requested fee includes accommodation, use of everything in the apartment, air conditioning, the final cleaning, bed/bath linens with the planned changes, and the use of the mobile or fixed internet network. There are no additional or hidden costs.

Is there a shuttle bus service from and to the port and beaches?

There is no shuttle service, but in some special cases (the presence of elderly people, small children, people with disabilities or particularly heavy luggage because of long stays, or in any case with significant prior notice) the hotel is available to provide this service to and from the port.

How far is the hotel from the beaches?

The hotel is located in the historical center, while most of the beaches are located in the resort area of Canneto, an area of Lipari, about 3 km away. There is an efficient public service that provides a shuttle bus every 15 minutes for a 10-minute long trip.

Where is the heart of the island?

The heart of the island is the historical center, where there is nightlife and where the quaint little shops and various boutiques are concentrated. Here there are the two ports from which the means of transport (ferries and hydrofoils) depart as well as all of the private boats for daily excursions to other islands. The acropolis, called Castello, is situated in the historical center; numerous churches, the archaeological park and the highly important Aeolian Archeological Museum are located inside of it.

What is the practice for booking?

You can make a reservation by telephone (if you have any doubts) or by filling out our form. In both cases, within 48 hours of our confirmation of availability, by telephone or e-mail, in order to block the desired apartment you must send a copy of the bank transfer certifying payment in our favor (30% of the total amount of the stay) or your credit card information (number, expiration and name of the cardholder). Within 24 hours of receiving these we will send the booking confirmation voucher.

What happens in the event of a change in the booking or a cancellation?

Changes can be made compatibly with availability and at no cost up to three days prior to the planned arrival date (seven days prior for the month of August only). After that term, changes will still be possible with the application of a penalty equal to the amount planned for the first night. The same rules foreseen for modifications will be applied to cancellations. In the case of a no-show or in the absence of notice, the entire deposit will be retained or, in the case of a booking made with a credit card, 30% of the total amount of the stay will be charged.
